ข้อห้ามของ Google AdSense   ข้อห้ามของ Google AdSense เมื่อคุณทำ Google AdSense ขอแนะนำนะครับว่าห้ามโกง หรือทำผิดกฎของ Google โดยเข็ดขาดเพราะนั่นคือเว็บของคุณจะไม่สามารถสมัคร Google AdSense ได้อีกเลย รวมถึงตัว คุณดองด้วย และถ้าเห็นใครทำผิดกฎของ Google ก็ให้อีเมล์ไปแจ้งเจ้าของเว็บไซต์นั้น ๆ เพราะเห็นมีหลายท่านบอกว่า ถ้าประเทศใดโกง Google AdSens มาก ๆ เดี๋ยว Google จะ แบนทั้งประเทศ (อันนี้ไม่รู้จริงเท็จแค่ไหน) ถ้าอีเมล์ไปแจ้งแล้วยังไม่เชื่อ ก็แจ้ง Google เลยครับ (อันนี้โหดไปปล่า) ข้อห้ามต่าง ๆ ของ Google • ห้ามทำการดัดแปลง Code ได้มาอย่างไรก็ใส่เข้าไปในเว็บของคุณแบบนั้น ห้ามทำการเปลี่ยนโดยเข็ดขาด • ห้ามคลิกโฆษณาของตัวเอง หรือให้เพื่อน ๆ ช่วยคลิก หรือทำในลักษณะ ร่วมด้วยช่วยกันคลิก • ห้ามเขียนคำเชิญชวนให้คลิก หรือเขียนหลอกผู้ใช้เพื่อให้คลิก ตัวอย่างเช่น "ช่วยคลิกเพื่อสนับสนุเว็บเรา" ให้ใช้ได้แค่ "sponsored links" หรือ "advertisements." เท่านั้น • เมื่อคลิกโฆษณา Google AdSense จะต้องไม่เปิดหน้าใหม่ขึ้นมา (_blank) • ทำเนื้อหาอย่างเดี่ยว แล้ว Copy ออกมาเป็นหลาย ๆ หน้า • ห้ามวาง Google AdSense ในหน้าที่มีการ Download พวก MP3 , Clip Video , News Group ต่าง ๆ หรือหน้าเว็บเปล่า ๆ ที่ไม่มีเนื้อหาอะไรเลย • ห้ามวาง Google AdSense ไปในเมล์ลิส ที่ส่งไปหาสมาชิกเว็บไซต์ของคุณ • ห้ามวาง Google Adsense ในหน้าที่ทำขึ้นมาเพื่อ เฉพาะเจาะจงเที่จะให้แสดง Google Adsense  • ห้ามวาง Google AdSense ที่ Pop Up  • ห้ามใช้ Soft Ware เพื่อบังคับให้คลิกโดยอัตโนมัติ • ห้ามใช้ Soft Ware เพื่อทำการโปรโมทเว็บของคุณ เช่น Web Promotor  • เคารพเครื่องหมายการค้าของ Google อย่าเอาแบนเนอร์ หรือโลโก้ ของ Google มาใช้โดยเด็ดขาด (ขนาดผมจะตั้งชื่อโดเมนเนมว่า thaigoogleadsense.com ยังไม่ได้เลยครับ อันนี้ผมอี เมล์ไปถามมา) • องค์ประกอบของเว็บเพจจะต้องไม่ไปบดบังคลุมเคลือ Google AdSense และสีโฆษณา จะต้องเป็นสีเดียวกับองค์ประกอบของเว็บเพจแม้กระทั่งตัวหนังสือและตัวอักษรจะต้องมอง เห็น • ถ้ามีอีเมล์ของ Google มาหา หรือเตือนอะไร ๆ บางอย่างในสิ่งที่คุณทำผิด ให้รีบตอบอีเมล์นั้นทันที • ห้ามวางรูปไว้ใกล้ Ads เพื่อหลอกให้ผู้เข้าชมเว็บหลงคลิก คิดว่าเป็นเนื้อหาของรูปนั้น ๆ (อันนี้เป็นกฎใหม่ครับ) นี่คือข้อห้ามของการทำ Google AdSense ให้ปฎิบัติอย่างเคร่งคัดนะครับจะได้ไม่โดนแบน แต่สำหรับการทำเว็บไซต์ผมทำด้วยใจครับ ไม่ได้หวังว่าจะได้น้อยได้มาก เท่าไร เพราะเมื่อ ก่อนไม่มี Google AdSense ผมก็ทำมาตลอด ทำด้วยใจรักนะครับ พอดีมี Google AdSense ก็ดีพอมีค่าใช้จ่ายในการทำเว็บบ้าง ไม่ต้องควักกระเป๋าของตัวเอง  พึงระลึกไว้เสมอว่า การให้คือสิ่งที่คุณควรทำเป็นอันดับแรก อย่าคิดแต่ได้ฝ่ายเดียว ($) ถ้าคุณรู้จักให้กับท่านอื่น ๆ รับรองได้ว่าผลตอบแทนก็จะกลับมาหาคุณ อย่างแน่นอน tag: เขียนโปรแกรม

Firewall คืออะไร

ถ้าแปลเป็นภาษาไทย จะหมายถึง กำแพงไฟ ซึ่งน่าจะหมายถึงการป้องกันการบุกรุก โดยการสร้างกำแพง อย่างไรก็ตาม ความหมายของ Firewall สามารถอธิบายได้ดังนี้ คือ Firewall เป็นเครื่องมือที่ใช้สำหรับป้องกันระบบ Network (เครือข่าย) จากการสื่อสารทั่วไปที่ถูกบุกรุก จากผู้ที่ไม่ได้รับอนุญาต เป็นเรื่องเกี่ยวกับการรักษาความปลอดภัยในระบบ Network หรือระบบเครือข่าย การป้องกันโดยใช้ระบบ Firewall นี้จะเป็นการกำหนดกฏเกณฑ์ในการควบคุมการเข้า-ออก หรือการควบคุมการรับ-ส่งข้อมูล ในระบบเครือข่าย นั่นเอง 

การป้องกันการเข้าถึงระบบ สามารถแบ่งออกได้เป็น 2 ประเภท
1. Logical Access หมายถึง การเข้าถึงผ่านระบบ Network เช่น ผ่านระบบ เครือข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ต เป็นต้น 
2. Physical Access หมายถึง การเข้าถึงในลักษณะถึงตัวเครื่องจริงๆ พูดง่ายๆ คือ การเข้าถึงในลักษณะเดินเข้ามาใช้งาน หรือลักลอบเข้ามาใช้งานถึงตัวเครื่องคอมฯ ในระบบ Network นั้นๆ

คุณสมบัติของ Firewall
• Protect
Firewall เป็นเครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการป้องกัน โดยข้อมูลที่มีการรับหรือส่งผ่านระบบเครือข่าย โดยจะถูกกำหนดเป็นกฏเกณฑ์ หรือ Rule เพื่อใช้บังคับในการสื่อสารภายในเครือข่าย (ข้อมูลที่มีการรับส่งภายใน หรือภายนอกระบบเครือข่าย เราเรียกว่า Package) 
• Rule Base
ข้อกำหนดในการควบคุมการรับ-ส่งข้อมูลภายในระบบเครือข่าย ดังนั้น การติดตั้ง Firewall จะต้องมีการกำหนดกฏเกณฑ์ ในการควบคุมการทำงานในระบบเครือข่าย 
• Access Control
หมายถึง การควบคุมระดับการเข้าถึง การรับ-ส่งข้อมูล 

ทำไมต้องติดตั้ง Firewall
เดิมการใช้งานคอมพิวเตอร์ส่วนใหญ่ จะเป็นการใช้งานส่วนบุคคล ดังนั้น ปัญหาต่างๆ ที่เกิดขึ้นในระหว่างการใช้งานจึงมีไม่มากนัก ต่อมาเมื่อระบบเครือข่ายอินเตอร์เน็ตเป็นที่แพร่หลายมาก ทุกองค์กร ทุกธุรกิจมีการใช้งานอินเตอร์เน็ต อย่างน้อยก็ใช้งาน อีเมล์ในการรับส่งจดหมายอิเล็คทรอนิกส์ ดังนั้น ผลพวงที่ตามมาคือ เกิดผู้ไม่ประสงค์ดี หาวิธีการในการลักลอบเข้าดูในเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ของคุณ เพื่อค้นหาข้อมูล หรือต้องการทดสอบความสามารถของตนเอง ตลอดจน ไวรัสคอมพิวเตอร์ ก็ได้อาศัยช่องทางของเครือข่ายอินเตอร์เน็ต เป็นช่องทางในการแพร่กระจายไวรัส

การดักจับและวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลในระบบเครือข่ายคอมพิวเตอร์

Sniffer คืออะไร
     Sniffer คือโปรแกรมที่เอาไว้ดักจับข้อมูล บนระบบ Network เนื่องจากคอมพิวเตอร์เน็ตเวิร์คเป็นระบบการสื่อสารที่ใช้ร่วมกัน เพื่อประหยัดค่าใช้จ่าย การแบ่งกันใช้ (sharing) หมายถึงคอมพิวเตอร์สามารถรับข้อมูลที่คอมพิวเตอร์เครื่องอื่นตั้งใจจะส่งไป ให้อีกเครื่องหนึ่ง การดักจับข้อมูลที่ผ่านไปมาระหว่าง เน็ตเวิร์คเรียกว่า sniffing (คล้ายๆ การดักฟังโทรศัพท์ แต่การดักฟังโทรศัพท์จะทำได้ทีละเครื่อง แต่ sniffer ทำได้ทีเดียวทั้ง network เลย)

     แรกเริ่ม sniffer เป็นชื่อโปรแกรมของบริษัท Network Associates Inc. สหรัฐฯ เพื่อใช้ในผลิตภันณฑ์ของตนเองในเครือ Sniffer Network Analyzer ซึ่งเป็นโปรแกรมวิเคราะห์ network โดยอาศัยการดักอ่านข้อมูล แรกเริ่ม มันถูกสร้างมาเพื่อการป้องกัน (คือเอามาตรวจสิ่งที่วิ่งอยู่บน network นั่นเอง)  แต่เมื่อมี Hacker หัวใส นำโปรแกรมที่ใช้ป้องกัน ไปทำลาย มันจึงเป็นดาบ2คม คือ หากเราเอามาใช้ในการตรวจ ระบบ network ของเรา ก็เป็นประโยชน์ (แม้บางครั้งอาจจะละเมิดความเป็นส่วนตัวไปบ้าง) แต่หากเราเอาไปใช้ในการดักอ่าน ของข้อมูล เพื่อ hack ล่ะ เช่น เอาไปวางไว้บนทางของ ระบบ E-Mail ก็ทำให้ข้อมูลทั้งหมด ของ e-mail โดนอ่าน (ทั้งๆ ที่มันควรจะเป็นความลับ) 
    การป้องกันการถูกดักอ่านข้อมูลโดย sniffer
    1. อย่างแรกเลย เปลี่ยนจาก Hub มาใช้ Switch
    2. หลีกเลี่ยงการส่งข้อมูลที่ไม่มีการเข้ารหัส
    3. ให้ตระหนักว่า ใน network นั้นสามารถถูกดักอ่านได้เสมอ เพราะฉะนั้นการส่งข้อมูลแต่ละครั้ง ต้องประเมินว่า หากโดนดักอ่านแล้วจะคุ้มกันมั้ย หากมีความสำคัญมากควรหาวิธีอื่นในการส่งข้อมูล
    4. หากมีการใช้บริการเกี่ยวกับด้านการเงิน หรือข้อมูลรหัสผ่าน ให้เลือกใช้ผู้บริการที่เข้ารหัสข้อมูลด้วย SSL
    5. หากสามารถเพิ่มความปลอดภัยของการส่งข้อมูลด้วยการเข้ารหัส ก็จะเป็นวิธีที่ดี แม้การส่งแบบนี้จะโดนดักได้ แต่ข้อมูลมีการเข้ารหัสไว้ ทำให้คนที่ดักไป ต้องไปนั่งปวดหัวถอดกันอีก โดยใช้โปรแกรมเข้ารหัสไฟล์
    6. หากมีการสื่อสารข้อมูลภายในองค์กรโดยผ่านอินเทอร์เน็ต การนำเทคโนโลยีของ VPN (Vitual Private Network) มาใช้จะช่วยเพิ่มความปลอดภัยได้

    การใช้ประโยชน์จาก Sniffer
    1. Network Analyzer นั้นคือใช้ประเมิน network ว่ามี Packet (หรือข้อมูล) ที่วิ่งไปวิ่งมานั้น มีอะไรบ้าง และ แพ็กเก็ต ที่วิ่งไปวิ่งมา มีอันตรายอะไรหรือเปล่า มีผู้ใช้มาน้อยเพียงไร เวลาใดมีคนใช้เยอะและเวลาใดมีคนใช้น้อย ผู้ใช้ ใช้แบนด์วิดธ์ไปในทางไหนบ้าง โดยสามารถเอาข้อมูลเหล่านี้มาประเมินเพื่อจัดการระบบ network ของเราได้
    2. Network Debugging Tools ใช้ตรวจสอบข้อผิดพลาดใน Network เพื่อจะดูว่า การส่งข้อมูลนั้นถูกต้องหรือไม่ มีอะไรแปลกปลอมวิ่งอยู่รึเปล่า โดนเฉพาะกรณีที่มีการใช้เครื่องมือระดับ network มาเกี่ยวด้วย เช่น ส่งไฟล์ผ่าน fire wall แล้วมีปัญหา หรือการทดสอบ ACL (Access Control List) ของเราเตอร์ เป็นต้น หากไม่มี sniffer แล้วเราก็จะหากต้นตอของปัญหาได้ยาก
    3. Packet Monitoring ใช้ในกรณีการศึกษาโปรโตคอลในระดับ network จำเป็นต้องเห็นข้อมูลที่มันสื่อสารกันจึงจะเห็นภาพจริงได้ packet monitoring เป็นการนำแพ็กเก็ตมาแสดงให้ดูให้ผู้ใช้เห็นในรูปแบบต่างๆ เช่นการ scan ของ hacker หากไม่มีเครื่องมือประเภท sniffer แล้วเราก็จะรู้ได้ลำบาก
    4. IDS (Intrusion Detection System) ใช้ตรวจจับผู้บุกรุก หากมีข้อมูลที่เป็นอันตราย ตามที่มันได้ถูก config ไว้มันก็จะเตะข้อมูล(หรือแพ็กเก็ต)นั้นทิ้งไป และหากมันพบว่าข้อมูลไม่เป็นอันตราย มันก็จะอนุญาติให้ผ่านไป

Wireshark เครื่องมือ Network Admin ใช้ในการตรวจสอบสถานะของ Network

Wireshark เป็นโปรแกรมประเภท Packet Analyzer หรือตัววิเคราะห์ข้อมูลที่ส่งกันไปใน Network .. ความสามารถของ Wireshark มี 2 อย่างง่ายๆครับ อย่างแรกก็ดักจับข้อและบันทึกมูลทุกอย่างที่ผ่านการ์ด LAN หรือ Network Interface Card ใดๆของเรา และอีกข้อก็คือเอามาแสดงผลให้เราดู เพื่อที่เราจะสามารถวิเคราะห์ได้ว่าตอนนี้มีข้อมูลอะไรอยู่บ้างวิ่งใน Network ส่วนใหญ่ จะเอาไว้แก้ไขปัญหาบน Network เช่น

- Loopback : มีไอ้เวงตัวไหนแอบเอาสาย LAN ไปเสียบ 2 ช่องพร้อมกัน
- Worm : ค้นหาว่า PC หรือ Network Device ตัวไหน ปล่อย Worm ออกมาทำลาย Network
- Netcut : หาพวกนิสัยเสียแอบตัด Internet ชาวบ้าน
- Bittorrent : หาพวกแอบโหลดบิท ทำให้ Network เค้าช้าไปหมด
และอื่นๆอีกมากมาย แต่เอาพื้นฐานที่คนทั่วไปเข้าใจมันก็ประมาณนี้นะครับ

บรรดา Network Admin ใช้ Wireshark ก็เพราะเราไม่สามารถเอาตาไปส่องสาย LAN ข้างในได้ว่า มันมีข้อมูลอะไรวิ่งอยู่ในนั้นบ้าง ดังนั้นเราจึงต้องอาศัยเครื่องมือประเภท Packet Analyzer แบบ Wireshark นี่แหละครับ ซึ่งไอ้ชื่อ Packet Analyzer ก็เป็นอีกชื่อหรูๆของคำว่า Sniffer (แอบดักฟัง) นั่นเองครับ ซึ่งข้อมูลที่ Wireshark หรือพวก Sniffer แบบเนี่ยจับได้ เราจะสามารถเอามาดูได้หมดเลย ว่า ใคร ส่งอะไร ไปหาใคร ตอนกี่โมงกี่ยาม และ ข้อมูลที่อยู่ข้างใน เป็นอะไรบ้าง ซึ่งถึงแม้ว่าจะดูยากซักหน่อย แต่ถ้าใช้ Network Keyword ที่ Search แล้วโดนมันก็หาข้อมูลออกมาให้ได้ครับ

ตามทฤษฏีของ Packet Analyzer แล้ว ถือว่า ทำได้ เพราะใน Packet Analyzer สามารถก๊อปปี้และนำไปวิเคราะห์ได้ทั้งหมด แต่ว่า…

1.อุปกรณ์ที่ ISP ใช้ดักจับข้อมูลตรงนั้นจะต้องแพงมากๆ ถ้าผมจำไม่ผิด Spec ที่เอามาใช้ระดับ Gateway ของ ISP มี 8 หลักแน่นอน แถมค่าดูแลอีกเท่าไหร่
2.ต้องมีอุปกรณ์บันทึกข้อมูลขนาดมหาศาลมากๆ เพราะมันเหมือนต้องก๊อปปี้ทุกอย่างที่วิ่งผ่าน ISP ไป .. นี่ยิ่งกว่าเก็บ Log 90 วันอีกนะครับ .. ลองนึกสภาพว่าๆ วันๆนึงคุณโหลดอะไรไปกี่ Gb ลอง x จำนวนลูกค้าทั้งหมดของ ISP เข้าไปดู
3.ค่าจ้าง Network Admin โคตรเทพที่จะสามารถ วิเคราะห์ Packet ที่วิ่งผ่านไปมา ในมหาสมุทรข้อมูลอันมหาศาลเหล่านั้น มันต้องใช้ ไอ้เทพพวกนี้กี่คนครับ

แค่ 3 อย่างนี้ก็พอจะเข้าใจแล้วว่า แทบเป็นไปไม่ได้ และอีกอย่างที่ทำให้เทคโนโลยีนี้เอามาใช้กับบ้านเราไม่ได้ ก็เพราะว่าพวก Sniffer มันมีให้ใช้กันกว่า 10 ปีแล้ว มันก็มีคนคิดวิธีแก้ไขการดักจับข้อมูลกันมาแล้วทั้งนั้นครับ ไม่ว่าจะเป็น
  - การ Login เข้าเว็บด้วยโปรโตคอล https หรือเข้ารหัสการใช้งาน HTTP
  - อยากเปิดเว็บแบบไม่มีใครรู้ ก็ไปหา Proxy ที่มันเข้ารหัสมาใช้
  - อยากส่ง Email แบบไม่ให้อ่านได้ ก็เข้ารหัส Email ด้วย PGP
  - ใช้ Protocal  POP3S และ SMTPS ในการส่งและรับ Email (Gmail ใช้ได้สบายๆ)
  - นี่ ถ้าเกิด Bittorrent มันบ้าๆ เข้ารหัสการรับส่งข้อมูลใน Bittorrent แค่นี้มันก็ถอดรหัสไม่ได้แล้ว แถมตอนนี้ยังมี TOR Project .. ระบบการเล่น Internet แบบไร้ตัวตนที่ทางกระทรวงกลาโหมสหรัฐเป็นคนสนับสนุนซะด้วย งานนี้ผมว่า ขืนทำไปก็มีแต่เจ๊งกับเจ๊ง เพราะไม่ได้ผลอะไรขึ้นมาเลย

การโจมตีแบบ Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อให้ระบบหยุดการทำงานไม่สามารถใช้เครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ได้ทั้งระบบหรือเครื่องเดียวๆ เคยมีเหตุการโจมตีแบบนี้เป็นตัวอย่างจริงมากับประเทศเกาหลีใต้ เมื่อปี 2552 ในเดือนนี้หล่ะ มีแฮกเกอร์ยิง DDoS ถล่มเครือข่ายคอมพิวเตอร์และเว็บไซต์หน่วยงานรัฐบาลเกาหลีใต้ แฮกเกอร์ไม่ทราบสัญชาติได้ส่งข้อมูลเข้าไปทำลายระบบเน็ตเวิร์ก จนเว็บไซต์ใช้งานไม่ได้นานกว่า 4 ชั่วโมง เว็บไซต์เกาหลีใต้ที่ถูกโจมตีไม่ใช่เว็บไซต์ทั่วไป แต่เป็นเว็บไซต์ของกระทรวงกลาโหม เว็บไซต์ทำเนียบประธานาธิบดี ในไทยก็มี ถ้าใครเป็นนักเล่นคอมพิวเตอร์?และเป็นคอการเมือง จะรู้กันในช่วงที่ปัญหาการเมืองกำลังคุกรุ่นที่ผ่านมาเว็บ ICT ก็เคยถูกโจมตีจนระบบล่ม ไม่สามารถใช้งานได้อยู่หลายชั่วโมง

ผู้ที่โจมตีแบบ DDoS? มักจะนำเครื่องมือที่จะใช้ในการโจมตีไปติดตั้งบนคอมพิวเตอร์ที่ถูกเจาะไว้แล้ว คอมพิวเตอร์ที่ได้รับเครื่องมือนี้เข้าไปจะเรียกว่า ?ซอมบี้? ซึ่งเมื่อมีจำนวนพอสมควรก็จะระดมส่งข้อมูลในรูปแบบที่ควบคุมได้โดยผู้ควบคุมการโจมตีไปยัง เหยื่อหรือเป้าหมายที่ต้องการ ซึ่งการโจมตีรูปแบบนี้มักจะก่อให้เกิดการใช้แบนด์วิดธ์อย่างเต็มที่จนผู้ อื่นไม่สามารถใช้งานได้ตามปกติ หรือทำให้ระบบที่ถูกโจมตีไม่มีทรัพยากรเหลือพอที่จะให้บริการผู้ใช้ธรรมดาได้

รูปแบบการโจมตี

เครื่องมือที่ใช้โจมตี แบบ DDoS มีใช้กันอย่างแพร่หลายมานานหลายปีแล้วย้อนหลังเป็น 10 ปี มาแล้ว (แต่บรรดาผู้ผลิตอุปกรณ์คอมพิวเตอร์ต่างก็มีวิธีป้องกันการโจมตีเช่นเดียวกัน) รูปแบบการโจมตีที่นิยมใช้กันก็มีอย่างSYN flood, UDP flood, ICMP flood, Smurf, Fraggle เป็นต้น ซึ่งมีรายละเอียดโดยสังเขป ดังนี้…

1. การโจมตีแบบ SYN Flood

เป็นการโจมตีโดยการส่ง แพ็คเก็ต TCP ที่ตั้งค่า SYN บิตไว้ไปยังเป้าหมาย เสมือนกับการเริ่มต้นร้องขอการติดต่อแบบ TCP ตามปกติ (ผู้โจมตีสามารถปลอมไอพีของ source address ได้) เครื่องที่เป็นเป้าหมายก็จะตอบสนองโดยการส่ง SYN-ACK กลับมายัง source?IP address ที่ระบุไว้ ซึ่งผู้โจมตีจะควบคุมเครื่องที่ถูกระบุใน source?IP address ไม่ให้ส่งข้อมูลตอบกลับ ทำให้เกิดสภาวะ half-open ขึ้นที่เครื่องเป้าหมาย หากมีการส่ง SYN flood จำนวนมาก ก็จะทำให้คิวของการให้บริการของเครื่องเป้าหมายเต็ม ทำให้ไม่สามารถให้บริการตามปกติได้ นอกจากนี้ SYN flood ที่ส่งไปจำนวนมาก ยังอาจจะทำให้เกิดการใช้แบนด์วิดธ์อย่างเต็มที่อีกด้วย

2. การโจมตีแบบ ICMP Flood

เป็นการส่งแพ็คเก็ต ICMP ขนาดใหญ่จำนวนมากไปยังเป้าหมาย ทำให้เกิดการใช้งานแบนด์วิดธ์เต็มที่

3. การโจมตีแบบ UDP Flood

เป็นการส่งแพ็คเก็ต UDP จำนวนมากไปยังเป้าหมาย ซึ่งทำให้เกิดการใช้แบนด์วิดธ์อย่างเต็มที่ และหรือทำให้ทรัพยากรของเป้าหมายถูกใช้ไปจนหมด โดยจะส่ง UDP packet ไปยัง port ที่กำหนดไว้ เช่น 53 (DNS)

4. การโจมตีแบบ Teardrop

โดยปกติเราเตอร์จะไม่ยอม ให้แพ็กเก็ตขนาดใหญ่ผ่านได้ จะต้องทำ Fragment เสียก่อนจึงจะยอมให้ผ่านได้ และเมื่อผ่านไปแล้วเครื่องของผู้รับปลายทางจะนำแพ็กเก็ตที่ถูกแบ่งออกเป็น ชิ้นส่วนต่าง ๆ ด้วยวิธีการ Fragment มารวมเข้าด้วยกันเป็นแพ็กเก็ตที่สมบูรณ์ การที่สามารถนำมารวมกันได้นี้จะต้องอาศัยค่า Offset ที่ปรากฏอยู่ในแพ็กเก็ตแรกและแพ็กเก็ตต่อๆ ไปสำหรับการโจมตีแบบ Teardrop นี้ ผู้โจมตีจะส่งค่า Offset ในแพ็กเก็ตที่สองและต่อ ๆ ไปที่จะทำให้เครื่องรับปลายทางเกิดความสับสน หากระบบปฏิบัติการไม่สามารถรับมือกับปัญหานี้ก็จะทำให้ระบบหยุดการทำงานในทันที

5. การโจมตีแบบ Land Attack

ลักษณะการโจมตีประเภทนี้ เป็นการส่ง SYN ไปที่เครื่องเป้าหมายเพื่อขอการเชื่อมต่อ ซึ่งเครื่องที่เป็นเป้าหมายจะต้องตอบรับคำขอการเชื่อมต่อด้วย SYN ACK ไปที่เครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ต้นทางเสมอ แต่เนื่องจากว่า IP Address ของเครื่องต้นทางกับเครื่องที่เป็นเป้าหมายนี้มี IP Address เดียวกัน โดยการใช้วิธีการสร้าง IP Address ลวง (โดยข้อเท็จจริงแล้วเครื่องของ Hacker จะมี IP Address ที่ต่างกับเครื่องเป้าหมายอยู่แล้ว แต่จะใช้วิธีการทางซอฟต์แวร์ในการส่งแพ็กเก็ตที่ประกอบด้วยคำขอการเชื่อมต่อ พร้อมด้วย IP Address ปลอม) ซึ่งโปรโตคอลของเครื่องเป้าหมายไม่สามารถแยกแยะได้ว่า IP Address ที่เข้ามาเป็นเครื่องปัจจุบันหรือไม่ ก็จะทำการตอบสนองด้วย SYN ACK ออกไป หากแอดเดรสที่ขอเชื่อมต่อเข้ามาเป็นแอดเดรสเดียวกับเครื่องเป้าหมาย ผลก็คือ SYN ACK นี้จะย้อนเข้าหาตนเอง และเช่นกันที่การปล่อย SYN ACK แต่ละครั้งจะต้องมีการปันส่วนของหน่วยความจำเพื่อการนี้จำนวนหนึ่ง ซึ่งหากผู้โจมตีส่งคำขอเชื่อมต่อออกมาอย่างต่อเนื่องก็จะเกิดปัญหาการจัดสรรหน่วยความจำ

6. Smurf

ผู้โจมตีจะส่ง ICMP Echo Request ไปยัง broadcast address ในเครือข่ายที่เป็นตัวกลาง (ปกติจะเรียกว่า amplifier) โดยปลอม source?IP address เป็น?IP address ของระบบที่ต้องการโจมตี ซึ่งจะทำให้เครือข่ายที่เป็นตัวกลางส่ง ICMP Echo Reply กลับไปยัง?IP address ของเป้าหมายทันที ซึ่งทำให้มีการใช้งานแบนด์วิดธ์อย่างเต็มที่

ความเสียหายที่เกิดโดยการโจมตีในรูปแบบ DoS

ความเสียหายที่เกิดจาก DoS ส่งผลให้ผู้ใช้งานแต่ละส่วนไม่เหมือนกัน?แล้วแต่ว่าเขาจะอยู่ในส่วนใด เช่น เป็นผู้เข้าไปใช้งาน?เป็นพนักงานในองค์กรที่โดนโจมตีหรือเป็น เจ้าของเครื่องที่ถูกใช้ในการโจมตี หรือจะมองในแง่ขององค์กรที่โดนโจมตี ทุกๆ ฝ่ายล้วนแล้วแต่เป็นฝ่ายเสียทั้งนั้น?ยกเว้นคนที่ทำให้เหตุการณ์นี้ เกิดขึ้น หรือคนที่เป็นคนบงการอยู่เบื้องหลังเท่านั้นที่ได้ประโยชน์จากการโจมตีนั้น
